We offer skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and home health aide services—all delivered in the comfort of your home. Non-medical support such as cooking, cleaning, and companionship is also available under Home Care Services.
Home bound only necessarily applies to Medicare-covered home health. It is not a 100% requirement in home care or hospice. You’re considered home bound if leaving your home requires significant effort, assistance, or would worsen your condition, as determined and re-certified by your doctor. Exceptions are made for medical appointments or special occasions like religious services or short family outings.
Home health and home care services typically start within 24–48 hours after referral and benefit confirmation. In our palliative care services, care can begin in as little as one hour.
For Medicaid, Medicare, and insurance, Safe Life’s intake team will coordinate with your doctor to schedule the initial assessment promptly.
